Calgon Carbon's highly skilled and experienced Digital Marketing Communications Manager will effectively manage our brand message across all digital channels, both internally and externally. This role will be responsible for managing and creating our new global corporate website, overseeing social media channels, and elevating communication programs that will effectively engage stakeholders, drive traffic and sales, and amplify our brand voice
Duties and Responsibilities
(not limited to)Global Corporate Planning
Work with global corporate planning office on Corporate Projects (events, releases, activities, programs)Ensure yearly goals are consistent with ESD Corporate Planning
Delegate and manage project work (external vendors, direct reports, cross functional teams, etc)Oversee development, compensation, and headcount planning for direct reports
Digital Marketing Communications
Strategize, manage, and execute digital marketing efforts for Calgon Carbon, including web updates, SEO, SEM, digital advertising, and social media managementEstablish and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to distribute corporate content effectivelyCollaborate with internal and external content experts to curate compelling, action-inspiring content and storiesEnsure consistent brand messaging is maintained across all social channelsAnalyze and measure trends and content performance to optimize the user experienceCreate and maintain an editorial calendar to deliver targeted content consistentlyConduct research, track user behaviors and trends, and incorporate insights into digital marketing campaignsPrepare comprehensive reports and analytics on the overall performance of marketing campaigns, including ROI and KPI analysisDevelop and monitor campaign budgets to ensure cost-effective strategiesMonitor all communication channels and promptly address urgent social media needsManage the digital presence of Calgon Carbon on platforms like Google Maps and WikipediaStay updated on the latest social media trends, incorporating them into marketing campaigns
Global Corporate Website Creation Plan
Manage, and execute the development of a new global corporate website in collaboration with an external agencyEnsure corporate digital security standardsEnsure corporate requirements including but not limited to, languages, branding, and lead generationUnderstand the basics of web design and the elements of UI/UX o Advanced skills in WordPress or other CMS platforms o Advocate for best possible outcomes in terms of usability, lead generation, branding, and search engine optimization
QualificationsA
bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university is required (Marketing, Business, Advertising, Design, Computer Science)A
Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent is preferred7-10 years
of experience with
Digital marketing, digital media, SEO/SEM, WordPress, graphic design is requiredProficiency in WordPress, Canva, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and basic video editing is preferredSolid understanding of content management systems, video production tools, and marketing/social media platforms is preferred
