Overview

Join a team working to develop purification processes for recombinant antibodies and recombinant proteins. You will have the opportunity to contribute to purification process development for each new product that will be manufactured in our onsite cGMP Manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Design and troubleshoot purification processes to support pre-clinical and early phase manufacturing campaigns of novel products
• Support technology transfer to Manufacturing, including execution of viral clearance studies
• Perform optimization and improvement in equipment or processes for existing products
• Other job-related functions as needed
• This position is lab based

Qualifications

• Experience with AKTA FPLC systems and UNICORN software
• Hands-on experience with protein purification (chromatography, column packing, UFDF, nanofiltration)
• Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to work well within one’s own team and other groups
• Willingness to travel
• Motivated, adaptable to change, and organized
• Protein characterization familiarization a plus
• Introduction to mammalian cell culture a plus
• Experience in a GMP manufacturing facility a plus

Education/Experience:

• BS in Bioengineering or related field required
• At least 3 years of biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience required
