Job Description:

Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid. All Source Analyst to support a federal government client.

Description:

  • Must provide Tier 2 UAM Analysis support. The primary purpose of Tier 2 UAM analysis is review the alerts escalated by the Tier 1 analyst and gather information to recommend dismissal or escalation to Tier 3 analysis.

Tier 2 analysis also includes the following tasks:

  • Document Contextual Information- Must review the content of the alert and review and document contextual information that will help with the adjudication process. The intent is to create a record that provides full context to adjudicate the alert. Examples of context data points include (but are not limited to) read-only access to activity records from network sensors, Security information and event management (SIEM) data and alerts, user account and employee role information, historical alerts, and case/inquiry data. Specific access to additional data sources will be determined by the Components.
  • Access and review authorized and relevant “context” data sources.
  • Integrate information pulled from these sources into adjudication records.
  • Identify missing or unavailable data.
  • Complete Analysis, Recommend and Document Dismissal or Escalation- Must complete analysis and document case file determining whether the alert should be dismissed or escalated to Tier 3.
  • Consider quantity, quality, and completeness of data when performing analysis.
  • Compare data sources to substantiate concerning or higher risks/patterns.
  • Document assumptions, facts, and analysis in the case file to justify the alert dismissal or escalation determination.
  • Complete and record recommendation to dismiss or escalate the alert to Tier 3.
  • Training of Tier 1 analysts- Must assist and train Tier 1 analysts to ensure job proficiency and effectiveness.
Job Requirements:


Desired experiences:

  • At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Desired education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • An additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 12 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Security Clearance:

  • Security clearance required TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY.

  • NGA-Springfield, VA.
