Job Description
A Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders and departments within an organization, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. They are responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the overall goals of the company while fostering a positive work environment and employee engagement.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop HR strategies and initiatives that align with business priorities and drive organizational success.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Handle employee relations issues, such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Implement retention strategies to attract and retain top talent, including career development programs, training initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
  • Provide guidance to managers on setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and providing feedback.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans as needed, ensuring fair and consistent performance management practices.
  • Identify training needs and partner with Learning & Development department to connect team members with appropriate training modules.
  • Stay updated on HR laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with legal requirements and promote a fair and inclusive workplace.
  • Foster a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BS degree in Human Resources or related field preferred: PHR Certification a plus.
  • Proven work experience as an HR. business partner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical and goal oriented.
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
  • Thorough knowledge of labor laws.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Texas Driver’s License: current liability insurance, personal transportation approved driving record.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate Team Members scheduling. Scheduling may include on-call, evening & weekend shifts.
  • Bilingual required.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.
  • The ability to cope with and tolerate moderate levels of stress is also a necessity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
