PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR

Join the team as a Precision Press Brake Operator, responsible for bending and fabricating metal components and assemblies using advanced techniques. 1st and 2nd shift available. Enjoy a 4 day work week!

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

As a Precision Press Brake Operator, you will have the following essential responsibilities:

  1. Ability to skillfully bend complex parts and fabricate intricate components for various jobs.
  2. Setup and operate machines with precision, following required procedures and utilizing appropriate tooling for each job.
  3. Utilize a variety of machines within the fabrication department, including but not limited to the press brake, shear, pem, and hand roller.
  4. Adhere to written quality procedures, ensuring accountability for the production of high-quality components.
  5. Maintain accurate inventory records and organize parts in identifiable and appropriate areas.
  6. Identify and address problem processes or unsafe setups, providing recommendations for alternatives.
  7. Operate machines with minimal supervision, demonstrating proficiency in working with various metals.
  8. Conduct quality checks on pieces according to the requirements of the quality department.
  9. Read and understand layouts, job packets, and blueprints for fabricated parts, including a comprehensive understanding of dimensions and tolerances.

QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  1. Strong communication skills in the English language.
  2. Commitment to Total Quality and the ability to work collaboratively with management.
  3. Capacity to follow written and verbal instructions to ensure all products meet blueprint and/or contract requirements.
  4. Technical knowledge of punch presses and measuring equipment necessary for completing each operation.
  5. Ensure all products meet the requirements of work instructions and/or blueprints.
  6. Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
  7. Must have aerospace experience
