Your Core Contributions To The Team

  • Prepare financial statements and other accounting reports which accurately reflect the financial position of CCIM Technologies and the CCIM Foundation.
    • Coordinate accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely posting of revenues and expenses.
    • Prepare necessary journal entries for month end and year end accounting closings.
    • Maintain reconciliations of accounting records to general ledger.
  • Perform the accounts receivable function including the timely preparation of invoices, timely processing of receipts, handle vendor and member requests. Work with the bank and credit card processors on collection/payment issues. This includes management of the accounts receivable module in Business Central for Foundation and Tech and collection of past due invoices. Assist as requested for the Institute.
  • Ensure the revenue ties to the association management system and all related deferred revenue balance accounts are reconciled. Troubleshoot and reconcile any exceptions.
  • Maintain detailed reconciliation of balance sheet accounts with ongoing review/follow up to reduced aged items.
  • Perform analyses of actual performance versus budget and conduct research in areas that require follow-up.
  • Assist in creating the annual operating budgets for CCIM Technologies and the CCIM Foundation, as well as forecasting.
  • Perform all bank reconciliations including for the Institute.
  • Assist in annual audit process by preparing and gathering documents requested.
  • Maintain CCIM Technologies’ and the CCIM Foundation’s areas of AMS and accounting system, including integrations and chart of accounts.
  • Daily lockbox payments, managing transfers and refunds.

About You

Knowledge and abilities

  • 0-2 years’ experience in accounting or finance position.
  • Demonstrated proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills; knowledge of general ledger software and various other accounting software; Great Plains experience preferred.

Education, certification, licenses

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Qualifications and other skills

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
  • Interacts with a wide variety of people using tact and diplomacy.
  • Exercises attention to detail and is able to hand multiple tasks simultaneously.
