Instructors are responsible for teaching students in the clinical setting, ensuring that they gain the knowledge and skills that are required for entry-level employment in their chosen field. Clinical Instructors will manage and supervise student nurses in various clinical facilities while promoting a positive, supportive and engaging learning experience. Instructors are to “model” the professional behaviors, language, and activities expected of our students.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ensure that each student has been presented with the material to successfully meet learning objectives
• Provide clinical experience in medical-surgical, community health, OB/ GYN , or pediatric nursing, terminal, long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites
• Create a clinical environment which fosters students’ academic growth and guides their professional development.
• Ensure campus compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory bodies’ guidelines, along with internal policies of the company
• Other duties as assigned

Required experience:

• Two (2) years Nursing experience

Required education:

• Bachelor (BSN), Master (MSN)
