Customer Sales & Inventory Specialist 

The Customer Sales & Inventory Specialistwill report to the ERP, Procurement & InventoryManager. They will focus on customer sales order processing,inventory management, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systemdata entry. They will have strong organizational skillsand maintain attention to detail. In addition, asuccessful Customer Sales & Inventory Specialist will beproactive, demonstrate adaptability, critical thinking, dedication,and problem-solving skills. Their actions help lead tocross-functional team successby both ensuring manufacturing has the materials theyneed to produce and that they have a clear understanding ofwhat needs to be accomplished.

What You’ll Do:

1. Process Customer Orders:

· Receive andaccurately process customer orders, ensuring adherence to company standards andpolicies.

· Collaborate withvarious departments to facilitate the timely fulfillment of orders, maintaininga focus on customer satisfaction.

· Address any customerinquiries or concerns regarding orders promptly and professionally.

2. Invoicing & Accounts Receivable Collections:

· Generate and dispatchinvoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner.

· Verify invoicedetails, including pricing and quantities, to ensure accuracy and compliancewith company policies.

· Maintain organizedrecords of all invoices and related documentation for reference and auditpurposes.

· Engage with customersto resolve billing discrepancies and facilitate prompt payment processing.

3. EDI Interface Experience:

· Utilize EDI (ElectronicData Interchange) interface for electronic order processing and communicationwith customers.

· Ensure proper configurationand compliance with EDI standards and protocols.

· Troubleshoot and resolveany issues related to EDI transactions to maintain smooth operations.

4. Inventory Activities:

· Perform routineinventory checks to assess stock levels and ensure availability of products forcustomer orders.

· Allocate salesorders, generate credit invoices, initiate and receive transfer orders, createand track work orders, submit purchase orders, and receive purchase orders.

· Coordinate with theinventory management team to reconcile discrepancies and maintain accurateinventory records.

· Support procurementand inventory team as needed to support production and warehouse operations.

· Help coordinateoffice activities and administrative tasks..

TheQualifications:

· Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within thefood service industry or related field.

· Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) for orderprocessing, inventory management, and invoicing.

· Experience working with EDI interface for electronictransactions is highly desirable.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis andreporting.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with afocus on delivering exceptional customer service.

· Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy andefficiency in all tasks.

· Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively in afast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements: 

· Physical dexterity, ability to lift up to 45 lbs and push/pull rolling bowls,carts, and containers with up to 50 lbs of product.

· The ability to work in varied environmental conditions (dry,cold)

· The ability to stand and work on feet for 8 to 10 hours at atime

· Must be able to identify, assessand observe detail

· Ability to communicate with others and exchange informationaccurately and effectively.

· Ability to squat, kneel, bend and twist 

· Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safemanner
