The Hospice Triage RN is responsible for evaluating and determining patient and family needs based on phone calls received or made. They will assign nursing visits accordingly.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of hospice concepts, philosophy, policies and procedures as well as prior experience caring for terminally ill patients and providing care in home and institutional settings. Candidate should possess the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, as well as telephone communication skills that include the ability to speak clearly, ask appropriate questions and listen to the caller need.
Minimum Requirements:
The pay for this position ranges from $27 to 55 per hour
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
