We are currently hiring a Manager of Accounting & Financial Reporting, to work in our Albany Executive Office. As the Manager of Accounting & Financial Reporting, you would be responsible for:

  • Work with the Chief Financial Officer to monitor, consult, and support the fiscal operations of Catholic Charities’ agencies and Executive Office to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), IRS, Federal and State laws, funding source requirements and regulations, system-wide fiscal policies and quality assurance (QA) standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and annual consolidated financial statements for review and approval by the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Work with the Chief Financial Officer to evaluate program funding sources for compliance with the contract/grant requirements; adopting a unified approach to common funding sources and maximizing reimbursement and funding of indirect costs;
  • Participate in Special Projects that require financial analysis and planning for program development including providing financial support for grant applications for Central Office programs.

Manager of Accounting & Financial Reporting Minimum Salary: $70,000

Manager of Accounting & Financial Reporting Maximum Salary: $75,000

Manager of Accounting & Financial Reporting Schedule: Monday – Friday 8AM to 4PM

Qualifications:

  • 4 year/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3-5 years accounting experience or related field.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
