What you will be doing in your role?
  • Work with program teams to identify trends, uncover insights, and measure impact for program development and improvement.
  • Apply design thinking to assist in the creation of new programs, refinement of existing programs, and identification of opportunities to increase program efficacy.
  • Understand and apply the different phases of evaluation to develop an evaluation framework with your assigned program team.
  • Use multiple research design methods to evaluate and report program services and impact.
  • Develop learning and testing objectives that contribute to the novel understanding of the program success, strengths, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate well within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support the interactions between social program services and data collection/analysis.
  • Manage multiple projects in various stages of design and evaluation.
  • Thoroughly understand the program for which you are responsible to evaluate/design.
  • Identify components key to program success, strengths, and opportunities.
  • Contribute to stakeholder reporting.
  • Implement methods to completely understand a problem before working to create a solution.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and communicate insights in a clear comprehensive manner.
  • Provide practical solutions for the program team regarding implementation of the program or the program evaluation.
  • Contribute to the development of various presentations, reports, papers, and publications.
  • Engage in continuous learning about the latest trends in human-centered design, behavioral science, research, poverty interventions, and data analysis.
  • Develop and conduct high-quality research to support client success.
Are you the newest Research & Evaluation Associate?
  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology, anthropology, public health, mental health, social work, public policy, evaluation, or related field required. Master's degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of successful experience in research or evaluation, preferably in a nonprofit or academic setting.
  • Understanding of basic evaluation methodology.
  • Strong understanding of multiple research method.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
