Your Role : As an Armed Off Duty or Retired PD, you will be a visible deterrent against theft and vandalism at retail locations in the Hollywood area.
Your presence will be crucial in preventing crimes and making private persons’ arrests when necessary.
Requirements :
- POST Certification (California Peace Officers Standards & Training, off duty or retire PD) or, 832 PC Training, or equivalent federal training.
- Minimum age of 21.
- Current BSIS Guard Card and BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit.
- Strong communication skills (speaking, typing, writing).
- Commitment to making private persons arrest if needed
- Vigilance in observation and reporting, with the ability to contact local authorities or emergency services.
- Proficiency in using phones and computers for reporting.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Clear criminal background and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job (standing, walking, etc.).
- Former military, law enforcement, and certified security professionals are highly valued.
