Position Description

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Staff Accountant who excels in a dynamic work environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality results within the corporate accounting sphere. This individual is dedicated to meeting the business needs of both internal and external stakeholders and will leverage a combination of existing tools and innovative solutions to continually enhance our operational processes. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Accounting, this Staff Accountant should possess a keen eye for detail, a flair for creativity, and an enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork.

This opportunity is not remote and requires an on-site presence. Please note that this position does not offer relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly financial closing procedures for the corporate accounting division, including the creation of journal entries and reconciliation of accounts.
• Contribute to the preparation of department-level and consolidated financial statements.
• Analyze monthly and quarterly actual results against the established plan and produce a range of reports stemming from this analysis.
• Compile organized documentation to facilitate the smooth execution of our annual financial statement audit.
• Assist in generating standard and ad-hoc reports for the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Director of Finance.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance internal controls and optimize our business processes.
• Take charge of accounts receivable by independently generating invoices, overseeing customer collections, and producing associated reports.
• Manage accounts payable by reviewing invoices for completeness and approval prior to payment, maintaining the vendor master file within NetSuite, and offering support to department leaders and vendors in response to various accounts payable inquiries.
• Lead the administration of Concur and the corporate credit card program.
• Maintain 1099 data for vendors and provide assistance in fulfilling annual reporting obligations.
• Collaborate in the preparation of annual Sunshine Act compliance reports for CMS.
• Actively participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• CPA certification is desirable but not mandatory.
• Preferred experience with NetSuite and Concur.
• Prior experience in the medtech industry is advantageous.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Compensation

We are pleased to provide a competitive salary and benefits. Our benefits reflect our investment in the overall health and well-being of our employees and their families. including paying 100% of monthly healthcare, dental & vision insurance premiums, a 401(k) plan with employer matching and unlimited PTO. The expected pay range is: $70,000-85,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on related skills, experience, and relevant key attributes.
