Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Mail Carrier to join our team. As a Mail Carrier, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to various locations within a designated route. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle. Duties:
- Sort and organize mail and packages for delivery
- Load and unload mail from delivery vehicle
- Drive designated route to deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Collect outgoing mail from post office boxes and homes
- Obtain signatures for registered, certified, and insured mail items
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating delivery vehicle

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with 2 years of experience and a clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 70 pounds) on a regular basis
- Familiarity with using handheld devices or scanners for tracking deliveries is a plus
- Must be able to pass a background check
