Glo Skin Beauty is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Demand Planning Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will lead the demand planning process, collaborate cross-functionally, and develop strategies to ensure product availability while minimizing inventory costs. This role sits on the Operations Team and reports to our VP of Operations.

Essential Duties:

• Lead the strategic planning process.
• Coordinate working groups across the business when relevant(validation)
• Effectively frame complex strategic problems to drive collaborative and methodical resolution.
• Present key issues & opportunities to the leadership team to drive process improvement.
• Translate findings into insights to fuel strategic communication.
• Evolve the strategic planning process, using tools and systems; stay current on industry best practices and benchmarks.
• Develop global materials management strategies, and collaborate with managers on execution, enabling best-in-class working capital deployment across the business.
• Design, generate, and analyze planning and inventory reports.
• Develop KPI scorecards with the manager to improve operations and facilitate informed business decision-making.
• Direct and influence long-range planning and development of campaigns, to ensure the best use of organizational resources.
• Deliver actionable recommendations to leadership through data-driven analysis and visualization for executive decision-making.
• Proactively anticipate and work towards mitigating risks to project execution or stakeholder engagement.
• Excel and MS Office Expertise

Job qualifications:

• Experience managing demand planning for a CPG company
• Experience across diverse customer types and channels
• Excellent written communication skills, strong verbal communication skills
• Adept at problem solving, conflict resolution, and process improvement
• Ability to function independently, manage time and resources effectively, adapt to shifting priorities, and adjust behaviors to meet and exceed expectations
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, merchandising, supply chain, or a related area

Preferred experience:

• Prior experience working for a skincare/beauty brand or similar
• Experience using Adobe Creative suite, Microsoft Office suite, Trello, Slack, Google Suite preferred
• Experience working across different cultures, adapting communication and work style as required for a successful relationship

Working Conditions:

• Hybrid position: Wednesdays in-office required, plus 2 other in-office days (3 days total)
• Physical activities include sitting at a computer for long periods of time, using a telephone, using office equipment such as a copier, occasionally lifting small boxes of products or documents.
• Work may occur before/after normal business hours, especially to accommodate meetings with suppliers or customers in other time zones.
• Occasional travel by car or plane, including overnight stays, may be required.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary for this exempt role is $80,000- $90,000
