Position Responsibilities
(Included but not limited to):Achieve sales and margin levels that meet or exceed annual goalsSpend 80%-90% of time making sales calls in territory developing new buying accounts and building loyalty through 100% customer satisfaction from existing accountsMaintain disciplined daily/weekly activity goalsDeliver consistent results through mastering the COMMIT* process and a clearly defined sales approachBudget and maintain market share targets in conjunction with Regional objectivesTarget competitive accounts to grow customer base and penetrate territoryMaster technical sales and territory management skills; product knowledge, a superior understanding and execution of proper prospecting and sales processes.Maintain CRMMaintain excellent communications with all fellow associates and customersRecognize potential problem areas and take corrective action.
Position Requirements:Proficiency in and ability to explain knowledge of Bearings and/ or Mechanical Power Transmission products (including, but not limited to, gearboxes, motors, motor controls drives, engineered chain)Proven experience identifying customer needs, negotiate deals, and close sales efficientlyProven customer-centric approach, ensuring solutions meet customer requirements and satisfactionAbility to work closely with sales teams, engineers, and other departments to achieve common goalsAbility to present technical information to diverse audiences, including customers and colleaguesAbility to travel on a regular basis to customer sites within the assigned territory.Ability to travel overnight approximately 10% of the timeWillingness to learn and adapt to market trendsProficient and disciplined in productive time managementProven sense of urgency and accountabilityExcellent customer relationship building skills.Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.Intermediate proficiency with MS Office programsA Strong "team attitude" with the ability to work productively in group settings with other associates, customers, and vendors.A commitment to the concept of "doing it right the first time".Valid Driver's License
