Technology Project Manager - Downtown Cincinnati / Hybrid role
We are a results-oriented, performance driven commercial insurance business unit looking for a TECHNOLOGY PROJECT MANAGER to support our customer-facing digital applications. This role will partner with enterprise digital product implementation teams to articulate our vision to help drive our division's digital business strategy. This hybrid role will include working in the Great American Tower three days a week and can be remote two days a week.
Here's what we do . We insure workers' compensation coverage for large companies, using our deductible program. Our service in claims and loss control is second to none. We've found that a large majority of our customers feel the way our employees do. Our renewal retention is 90 %, meaning our customers don't want to leave us either.
Here's what you would be doing if selected for the position as Technology Project Manager:
* Partner with key leaders to understand our business's growth strategies and needs, help prioritize work, and solicit requirements.
* Work with implementation teams as the Product Owner to develop and test new functionality to help support our insureds and agents.
* May assemble the project team, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop/manage schedules to ensure timely completion of technology projects.
* Troubleshoot complex issues and risks, coordinate integration of various modules, and ensure compliance with expected quality standards.
* Ensure optimum utilization of resources and management of budgetary targets to meet goals.
*Negotiate/set/clarify customer expectations. Communicate to a variety of audiences by providing direct communication on progress, opportunities, and issues.
* Monitor technology project progress and report on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
* May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Field of Study: Information Technology, Insurance, Business or a related discipline.
Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies and best practices.
Experience: Generally, 3 to 5 years of related experience; preferred digital focus with insurance experience.
This job is non-exempt in California and Washington.
