The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting financial planning and analysis, driving strategic decision-making, and providing actionable insights to senior management. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance, develop forecasts, and identify opportunities for improvement.
This is a hybrid position in South Jordan, Utah (M, W, F in-office).
What You'll Do:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
    • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance and trends.
    • Prepare and present insightful reports and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Coordinate the annual budgeting process, including gathering input from department heads, analyzing variances, and preparing budget presentations.
    • Partner with business leaders to develop accurate forecasts and provide actionable insights to drive performance improvements.
  • Performance Analysis and Insights:
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial results, including variance analysis and trend analysis, to identify opportunities and risks.
    • Provide proactive recommendations to optimize revenue, reduce costs, and improve overall financial performance.
  • Strategic Decision Support:
    • Partner with senior leadership to evaluate strategic initiatives, investment opportunities, and business expansion plans.
    • Conduct financial due diligence and scenario analysis to support decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Process Improvement and Efficiency:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve efficiency.
    • Drive initiatives to automate routine tasks and implement best practices for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Payments Analysis and Reporting:
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of payment transactions, trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and revenue optimization.
    • Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate payment-related insights, trends, and forecasts to key stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 4 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably within the SaaS industry.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis using Excel, SQL, and other analytical tools.
  • Experience with financial planning and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements, optimizing workflows, and delivering actionable insights to support business objectives.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for accuracy, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
