Though intratumoral delivery is increasing in clinical relevance in cancer treatment, many parameters have not been optimized for enhanced efficacy. An undergraduate student will help to formulate and test tumor phantoms and evaluate therapeutic delivery retention within these phantoms.

Work Schedule Mon-Fri 8-5 or as needed by supervisor Other Work/Responsibilities

Duties include gelatin tumor manufacturing, mechanical testing, rheometric measurements, and image analysis. The student will also complete a marketing analysis for intratumoral immunotherapies.

Minimum Experience/Education

Student should be enrolled and making strong progress in an accredited engineering program

Cell culture experience; SolidWorks or other CAD software; experience with 3D printing

Prior experience in a biomedical or biochemical laboratory is preferred; experience with protein purification is preferred
