Salary: Pay for this position is determined by the Food Service Servers Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education. $15.15-$16.06 per hour/Minimum Pay.

Purpose of the Job.Responsible for providing assistance in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch and other food to children and adults in a courteous customer service-oriented manner. Organize and set up equipment and workstations. Perform duties following health, food service, government and other regulations. Demonstrate proper equipment operation skills.
Minimum Requirements:Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Certification: None required
Experience: Similar job-related experience
Licenses/Certificates: Current/Valid Colorado Driver’s License

Essential Duties of the Job: (Minimum skills and knowledge required to perform the job. Insert the equipment the employee is required to use to perform the job.)- Assists with the daily preparation of school meals, including hot and cold food, setting up and all other functions and phases associated with food preparation
- Maintains daily sanitation practices in the food preparation and serving areas and the dish room
- Assists with the serving of daily meals as assigned
- Monitors the areas for needed refill and changes/resupply
- Present a professional appearance personally and in the work area.
- Demonstrate reliability in all work situations
- Promote and maintain positive working relationships with peers, students, parents and the public
- Other duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge, Equipment & Other:Strong language and communication skills. Basic knowledge of kitchen, food preparation equipment and systems including, but not limited to, steamers, ovens, mixers, warmers, serving lines and other commercial equipment. Ability to work in person
Computer hardware and software, technology related to the assignment, typical point of sales machines and electronic recordkeeping.

Travel from site to site may occasionally; be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; indoor kitchen conditions. The noise level in the work environment ranges is generally quiet with occasional increase when working events or with equipment. Must be able to work in person.
Mental Functions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to analyze and compute. Frequently required to compare, communicate, coordinate, and use interpersonal skills to provide service.
