Sploot is introducing a brand new approach to veterinary care, and we’re looking for ROCK STAR Social Media Content Creator Intern to join our team and help us create AMAZING content to highlight the Sploot experience to our patients and their parents across our Urgent & Primary Care clinics.

We decided to launch our network of Urgent & Primary Care Clinics as we believe that every pet deserves high quality veterinary care whenever and wherever they need it. Whether it’s a routine visit or something that “just happened and can’t wait," we’re there for our pets and their parents.

This role is required to be in Chicago, IL.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate closely with Sploot’s Social Media Marketing Manager to craft dynamic video content for Instagram and TikTok.
• Concept, coordinate, and film video content highlighting our Chicago clinics, veterinarian team, and local field marketing efforts for Instagram and TikTok.
• Stay informed about the latest trends on Instagram and other relevant platforms, leveraging insights to create timely and engaging content.
• Work closely with the Social Media Marketing Manager to report post performance to leadership.
• Ideate and propose unique social media activations that position Sploot as the leader in the pet parent community on Instagram and TikTok.
• Actively participate in creative brainstorming sessions to generate content ideas for all social media platforms.
• Demonstrate flexibility regarding work hours to ensure timely content delivery and community management, including availability for morning, evening, and weekend tasks.

• Currently enrolled in a 2-4 year business, marketing, or advertising program at a Chicago university
• You have a passion for social media and content creation
• You are a team player, and always looking to collaborate with others in the organization
• You’re excited about working with a team that is introducing a brand new approach to veterinary care
• You’re as excited as we are about offering pets the best care possible whenever and wherever they need it
• You’re super organized, and focused on efficiency

• Experience in social media marketing and community building
• Experience in a human or veterinary medical office setting
• Pet parents and/or pet lovers

• Pay: $15.80/hour
• Hours: 15-20 MAX a week
• 3 month time period (June, July, August)
