PrideStaff is Hiring a Sales Representative Near Tuscaloosa, AL
Base Pay = $50,000 based on experience plus commission. Commissions are paid after sales quotas are met. Seasoned sales person salary can range from $60k-$75k plus commission.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prospecting for new customers, developing new business, targeting key prospects and retaining accounts.
- Cold calling, lead management, scheduling sales appointments and follow-ups.
- Present and discuss the products and services of the company in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and fulfillment of customer needs.
- Understand and comply with the sales system/program in place.
- Communicate effectively with management, and the marketing and production teams, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met.
- Participate as a key team player by supporting operations as needed.
- Increase existing market penetration and identify new avenues of growth.
- Must be able to travel locally and nationally as required. Most trips are day trips and not overnight.
- Attend trade shows to demonstrate products and services.
- Work week consists of 45-60 hours depending on quantity of projects.
- Sign knowledge and background in signage industry preferred but not required.
- Sales experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
- Strong sales aptitude.
- Ability to identify and meet customer needs and requirements.
- Must have initiative and be able to problem solve.
- Must possess a valid state motor vehicle operator's license.
