CAMC Health System is Hiring an Environmental Service Tech Utility Worker -- Real Estate Operations - Residential -- Cornerstone Bui Near Charleston, WV

Accountable For Maintaining Assigned Properties In A Sanitary, Orderly, Attractive And Functional Condition. This Position Is Expected To Perform Minor Maintenance Duties As Well As Housekeeping Skills.

Responsibilities

• MUST POSSESS PAINTING SKILLS AND BE ABLE TO MOVE AND WORK FROM LADDERS. • ASSISTS THE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC III IN TASKS SUCH AS CARPENTRY, PLUMBING, HVAC REPAIRS AND ELEcenterICAL. • DUST MOPS, WET MOPS, BUFFS, SCRUBS, WAXES, STRIPS, VACUUMS, AND SHAMPOOS CARPETSAS ASSIGNED OR NECESSARY. • WASH WALLS, CEILINGS, LIGHT FIXTURES, APPPLIANCES, BLINDS, WINDOWS, MOLDINGS, OUTSIDE PAVED SURFACES, CLEAN STORM DRAINS AND RELATED DUTIES. • CHANGE LIGHT BULBS IN OUTSIDE AND INSIDE COMMON AREAS IN ADDITION TO PROGRAMMINGTIMERS FOR SEASONAL NEEDS. • CLEAN AND/OR CHANGE ALL AIR FILTERS, AIR INTAKE VENTS AND DRYER VENTS. • MOVE AND ARRANGE FURNITURE DEPENDING ON TENANT NEEDS, KEEPING FURNITURE STORAGE IN A NEAT, CLEAN ORGANIZED MANNNER. ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE PROPER USE AND MIXING OF CLEANING SUPPLIES,CLEANING EQUIPMENT AFTER USE. • RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TRASH COLLECTION AND KEEPING TRASH AREAS AND CONTAINERS IN ACLEAN SANITARY CONDITION. • KEEP WALKWAY AND PARKING AREAS FREE OF ICE AND SNOW WHEN NECESSARY. MUST BE ABLETO OPERATE A MOTORIZED SNOW BLOWER. • RESPONDS TO REQUESTS TO PICKUP AND DELIVER MAIL, INFORMATION AND/OR MATERIALS. • CHECK ALL GROUNDS FOR DEBRIS.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients. Competency Statement Must demonstrate competency through an initial orientation and ongoing competency validation to independently perform tasks and additional duties as specified in the job description and the unit/department specific competency checklist.
