JOB OVERVIEW A shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm ET Responsibilities
Continuously monitor and respond to Equipment needs, such as chip and coolant management
Kit materials, tooling, and fixtures for work packages
Prepare material for machining, deburr and package for shipment
Collaborate with other groups to coordinate updates, and logistics
Assist in fabrication, machining, and assembly activities
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of shop supplies
Operating equipment such as: saws, grinders, etc.
Work cross functionally to expedite any material shortages.
Process Scrap and obsolete inventory from WIP locations as required.
Maintain clean and safe work areas following company policies and industry best practices (5S).
Must be able to work well with others, take direction and execute swiftly, be mindful of process improvement opportunities, and be able to problem solve.
Operate various equipment in support of daily operations This includes but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, lift tables etc to ensure safe hardware handling operations.
Qualifications
Knowledge of daily maintenance of CNC equipment: coolant & chip management
Forklift Certified
High School Diploma, Accredited GED or equivalent vocational certifications or training
2 years of experience in manufacturing environment
Experience working with a cross functional team
Ability to safely drive a forklift and perform acute work
Ability to lift 50lbs, unassisted
Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary
Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends, and travel on occasion
Must be a U.S citizen or national, U.S permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S as a refugee or granted asylum
Working knowledge and mills, lathes and CNC equipment
Excellent interpersonal and Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
