Caliper Holdings is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Commerce, CO
About The JobThe position is full time with potential for overtime. This will be a day shift M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm with probable daily OT.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- As part of the Manufacturing team, provides hands on and basic maintenance across the Caliper and Ripple CO production facilities, with the ability to be flexible around production schedules
- Responsible for understanding and adhering to a maintenance budget
- Utilizes an electronic Maintenance platform through which schedules and records PM's for maintenance and quality program needs
- Implements new PM's with the addition of new and used equipment
- Assist R&D and Process Implementation teams with set up of new and refurbished equipment
- Develops systems and drafts SOP to help other departments understand and perform simple maintenance procedures during off hours
- Maintains an inventory of replacement parts and equipment to facilitate timely repair and replacement of equipment
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility
- Strong mechanical aptitude: experience in PLC systems, VFD controllers and electrical (A/C, D/C) required
- Must read and write in English
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, sanitary welding, HVAC and refrigeration a plus
- Strong attention to detail, can follow directions as well as possess creativity to come up with out of the box solutions
- Must be able to work in a safe manner and follow Good Manufacturing Practices at all times
- An excellent communicator with strong problem solving skills
- Able to stand for 8 hours at a time and to lift 55 lbs or more on a regular basis
- Must be 21 years of age with a current MED Badge or the ability to obtain one
