Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Six months experience working as an instructional assistant in an early care and education setting. Experience in Head Start/Migrant Head Start programs preferred. REQUIRED EDUCATION: An Associate's degree from an accredited college/university including completion of (24) semester units of early childhood/child development education.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: A complete application must meet the criteria listed below and must have the following documentation attached to your online EdJoin application:

* Copy of Transcript (Copy of legible transcripts from a regionally accredited college/university showing completion of an Associate's degree (if applicable) and completion of 24 semester units of Child Development and applicable Infant/Toddler units coursework. Must attach transcripts - Diploma copies of degree will not be accepted)

* Letter(s) of Recommendation (One Letter of Recommendation is required and must be attached to your application. The letter must be hand-signed by the author and must have a date on the letter that is within the last two years prior to the date your application is submitted. Letters without a hand-signature, letters that are electronically signed, and letters without a date or with a date more than 2 years old will not be accepted. One letter from a supervisor is preferred, but not required)
