Job Summary
Under general supervision, performs lead responsibilities in the operation and production at a
main site kitchen and the transport of food and supplies to the assigned sites. Performs other
related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from high school

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Completion of a food safety certification program as reviewed by the District.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION-EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
College and/or specialized coursework in nutrition and/or quantity food preparation, including baking.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
Four (4) years experience in the District's Nutrition Services Department or equivalent experience in a school nutrition program or in the food service industry.
