Responsibilities:

• Review and prepare tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Oversee and conduct audits, which make up a substantial portion of the business operations.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
• Engage in on-site audits for a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, ultra-high-net-worth clients, non-profits, and business audits.
• Maintain minimal client contact until established, followed by substantial face time with clients to build strong relationships.
• Utilize Yellow Book, Pro Systems, CCH Engagement, and CCH Research for efficient and effective audit processes.
• Acknowledge and coach staff in audit procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Demonstrate proficiency in tax laws and regulations, staying updated on industry trends and changes.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure successful client interactions and deliver exceptional service.
• Exhibit a flexible work schedule, with an expectation of on-site presence for audits.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in reviewing and preparing tax returns.
• Strong background in conducting audits, with at least 3 years of recent relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Yellow Book, Pro Systems, CCH Engagement, and CCH Research.
• Excellent coaching and mentoring skills for junior staff development.
• Ambitious and driven to advance within a tax practice, aiming for a partnership role.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to engage in on-site audits with various client profiles
• Must be professional and presentable
