Must be able to work weekends.

We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our team and help maintain cleanliness throughout the facility. Must be available to work, sat/sun/mon/wed. 6 hr shifts.

Duties:

• Complete daily cleaning schedule in accordance with the facility policies
• Clean common areas
• Must follow and perform infection control procedures
• Ensures all safety measures are used when housekeeping duties are being performed (i.e. wet floor signs, chemicals are secured and labeled, etc.)
• Assist in the proper care and use of all housekeeping equipment.
• Be comfortable in a health care setting and being around residents
• Able to multitask
• Good communication skills
• Team player

Identify and report any equipment issues

• Report all unsafe conditions, defective equipment, and any maintenance repairs to supervisor.
• Dispense soap, paper and other housekeeping supplies.
• Attend in-service training as needed and assigned by the facility. Observe infection control procedures related to the housekeeping department.

Follow O5HA regulations as they pertain to the housekeeping department.
