**About the role**

Shell has outsourced CBRE GWS has partnered with Shell to provide End to End Project Management Consultancy services for the development of Electric Vehicles Charging Infrastructure across Americas.

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible to meet the End-to-End Project execution and Management of contractors, Quality, Cost, budget, support delivery of the Customer Value Proposition. Specifically, the role is to:

Spend at least 20% of time on sites for assurance, audit compliance, validating HSSE delivery and ensuring suppliers are performing as expected and pro-actively managing the project's delivery according to Shell Standards adhering to Critical Quality Control processes.

Successfully manage Medium to Small scale projects (EV Charging Station), assuring E2E project completion by following project execution plans under the supervision of Sr. Project Manager. The individual should have at least 4 years of professional experience and is encouraged to exceed customer expectations.

**What youll do**

Manages all facets of project management for electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure projects, including pre-project safety and risk analysis, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality control, and risk management.

Demonstrates the capability to read, understand, and apply standard and complex documents related to EV projects, such as agreements/contracts, work letters, project charters, surveys, and EV-specific drawings.

Interfaces directly with clients to define project requirements for EV infrastructure installations. Prepares the scope of work, identifies resource requirements for project delivery, estimates costs and budgets, manages cash flow, develops work plans and schedules, ensures quality control, and identifies risks associated with EV projects.

Identifies qualified project delivery resources for EV projects, either from pre-qualified lists or through a project qualification process. Conducts requests for proposals (RFPs) ranging from standard to complex, completes bid analysis, leads evaluation interviews, and recommends suitable resources to clients for EV projects.

Implements a comprehensive communication plan for EV projects, including conducting project meetings, preparing written reports, and meeting minutes, and ensuring effective communication with clients and project resources.

Establishes project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and coordination of project data and documentation for EV projects.

Tracks the progress of each EV project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and timelines. Reports status and variances, and creates action plans to meet project objectives, budget requirements, and schedule deadlines.

Implements change management routines specifically tailored for EV projects, including assessing change requests, making recommendations, obtaining client approvals, and issuing change orders. Evaluates change requests to determine their impacts on scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk factors of EV projects.

Demonstrates the ability to identify complex project risks associated with EV infrastructure installations, develops effective risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implements action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.

Ability to engage and manage the architects, designers and 3rd party contractors and have a detailed knowledge of the project to be able to guide the design from Initial Due Diligence till Completion.

Supervision of all site activities mainly Hold Point to ensure that all works comply with contractual requirements

Ensure regular reporting in line with contractual and KPI requirements about the progress of the project to suppliers, internal and external customers

Be confident in making decisions based on analysis carried out or provided and to see these decisions through whilst ensuring the best interests of both CBRE and Shell are maintained.

Review contractors direct cost payment requisitions and budget status, review of subcontracts, bonds/subcontractor default insurance, review of change orders, review of Developers monthly Job Cost Reports, opine on adequacy of contingency, review of construction and disbursement schedules, review of lien waiver and other documentation submitted by the Developer.

Verify invoices for work undertaken at construction site to validate the costs incurred are as invoiced. Prepare Project Status Reports and recommend the release of construction funds.

Analyze the developers direct and indirect cost budget including cost estimate back-up and coordinate with the cost advisory group performing parameter estimates, spot quantity take-offs and review of supporting documentation submitted by the developer, contractor, and subcontractors.

Manage and co-ordinate the successful completion and handover the project in line with all pre-requisites defined in Hand Over Process.

Performs other duties as assigned.

**What youll need**

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/Bang/BArch) from an accredited university or 5 years of construction project management in lieu of degree.

Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial construction project management.

Knowledge of site layout design and electric utilities preferred.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Licensure as either a Professional Engineer or PMP Certification is an advantage.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts sophisticated financial analysis.

Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, construction practices and methodologies.

Knowledge of the entitlement/permitting process and construction delivery methods and agreements. Familiarity with construction standard methodologies, general building codes, and various building types and systems. Passion for being detail oriented and highly organized.

Decisions made with detailed understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidates education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $125,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $135,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidates skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBREs applicable benefit program.
