Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
- Take customer orders and process payments using the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Ensure that all food handling and safety guidelines are followed
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints
- Promote sales by suggesting additional items or upselling products
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding coffee preparation and service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and sales transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide a positive experience for customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus
- Basic knowledge of retail math for inventory management is desirable
