Job Description Summary

A Project Cleaner will work under the Custodial Manager or Supervisor and perform a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services. Such duties shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of C&W Services.

Job Description

We are looking for a working Projects Person with preferred cleaning experience in office spaces, restrooms, eating areas, elevators, carpet cleaning, auto and walk behind scrubbers & buffers in an office setting.

• Clean building floors by dust-mopping, wet-mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
• Clean windows and mirrors
• Clean and supply restrooms
• Remove waste and empty trash
• Maintain cleaning chart of spills by indicating areas that were cleaned and inspected
• Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies
• Organize janitorial storage areas
• Respond to Work Orders and promptly complete the requested task
• Notify management about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance
• Work with the team to clean and maintain the public eating area while open and after close
• Organize and work with team to complete all assigned daily tasks and projects

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial and supervisory position is highly preferred
• Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
• Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally and by two way radio
• Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, stretch, walk and stand for long periods
• Attention to detail and areas that need attention
• Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
• Ability to follow directions from management and supervisor
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism and respect towards client, coworkers and patrons
• Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team
• Flexible schedule is preferred to help cover other employees or projects
