JOB SUMMARY:

Build, assemble and test various parts and components in the most efficient manner possible in order produce the highest quality explosion suppression products. Some shipping and receiving duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Produce all work according to established work instructions.

· Produce all work as efficiently as possible.

· Produce all work is at the highest level of quality possible.

· Be on-time and work the hours assigned.

· Understand and follow all company policies and procedures.

· Understand and follow all ISO 9001 policies & procedures.

· Products:

· Based on the direction received from the production supervisor, build the required components by following the established work instructions.

· During the production process, check all work for accuracy.

· When the work is complete, arrange for final inspection with production supervisor.

· Resolve quality issues that are discovered during final inspection.

· Quality:

· Perform inspection according to established procedures, keeping parts segregated until they have passed inspection.

· Inventory:

· Ensuring that all components are accounted for on each order.

· Taking part in periodic physical inventories.

· Taking part in annual complete physical inventories.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Minimum High School diploma with some degree of technical training in the electro-mechanical area preferred.

BATF Employee Possessor License: It is a condition of employment that a BATF application is completed and approved, which can take up to 12 months. All “employee / possessors” must submit an ATF Form 5400.28 – Employee Possessor Questionnaire (commonly referred to as an EPQ). An Employee /Possessor (EP) is an individual who has actual or constructive possession of explosive materials during his/her employment with our business. The BATF electronic background checks are conducted for all EPs submitted with the application. In the event of non-approval this is a basis for immediate termination of employment.

Experience: Three years of experience in some aspect of electro-mechanical assembly, or appropriate alternate experience.

Knowledge: Experience in the use of basic hand and power tools and a basic understanding of electro-mechanical operations. Basic computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Basic oral and written communication skills. Must read, write, and speak English proficiently. Knowledge of assembly and/or testing of low voltage electrical devices and advantage.

Mental/Physical/Visual Demands: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret wiring diagrams and documents. Ability to lift up to seventy pounds. Occasionally stands, walks and sits, as well as using hands to touch or feel, and arms to reach and to perform a wide variety of physical assembly operations. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions: General workshop floor assembly area conditions. Occasional out door work at our test facility.

Equipment/Tools Used: Must possess the ability to learn to use a wide variety of hand and powered tools
