Preventative Maintenance Technician

Burlington Capital Properties manages quality homes at Rising View in Bellevue, Nebraska, next to Offutt Air Force Base. We are now seeking a qualified Preventative Maintenance Technician who will evaluate and perform preventative maintenance in the homes of our service men and women. The ideal candidate will have HVAC certification and experience with home mechanical, electrical, water, and building systems and equipment. Service vehicle provided.

JOB DUTIES

• Perform preventative maintenance on heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other building systems as assessed/scheduled to extend life of equipment, reduce breakdowns, and enhance production
• Perform testing, repair, and/or replacement of filters, smoke detectors, or other inspection findings
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Follow safety and liability guidelines

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• HVAC required; minimum one year of maintenance experience
• Possess adequate home and building systems repair skills
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record required
• Ability to follow directives and work with minimum supervision
• One year of multi-family housing maintenance experience preferred
• Must have basic understanding of the English language and be able to communicate with coworkers
• Must interact positively with residents, employees, vendors and general public
• Ability to exercise schedule flexibility to accomplish goals
• May be required to be "on call" as directed by management
