Position Summary
This role reports to the Quality Manager and has oversight of the Inspection team supporting the OMR & OES products designed, produced, and installed by the Orlando Operations.
The quality control inspector will be required to comprehend specifications to determine testing procedures and equipment to be used.
The candidate must be able to read dials or digital displays, compare results with specifications and record test data, to support and confer with engineers, technicians, and production personnel.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform dimensional checks and visual verifications of fabricated and machined parts to acceptance criteria.
Document and track non-conformance reports / material. Ability to work with minimal instruction and supervision. They will often lead, coordinate, and communicate with others on inspection activities to support various projects, sometimes with a global scope.
To be successful in this role, this person must understand business priorities and translate them into people priorities and actions, while leading and developing a high performing HR team, acting as a change agent driving for results by building organizational capability and performance.
They must partner with key stakeholders across the organization to support Oceaneering's people-related initiatives and goals with a specific focus on their geographical areas of responsibility.
