PURPOSE
This position provides reporting support for the corporate purchasing department of the company and works with minimal instruction and guidance. This position performs such duties as record keeping, preparation and maintenance of spreadsheets, and dealing with a diverse group of internal and external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels within the organization. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Must be able to prioritize and organize diversified workload with minimal supervision.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain records of corporate purchasing agreements and vendor rebates.
  • Maintain vendor and pricing information in company's operating computer system to facilitate inventory replenishment.
  • Assist in preparation and entry of purchase orders.
  • Maintain computer spreadsheets with replenishment data.
  • Applies knowledge of company practices and policies to all duties.
  • Maintains confidentiality of work, as appropriate.
  • Proofreads records or forms.
  • Sorts and files records.
  • Runs and distributes various reports. Performs analysis and summarizes trends of data.
  • Photocopies documents.
  • Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Industry experience preferred. Five (5) years reporting experience and a demonstrated record of high performance creating and maintaining accurate detail of purchasing information.

In addition to the base wage listed, this position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus subject to changes in plan design and documents and in accordance with applicable law. Eligibility and the amount of the bonus varies based on overall company success, thresholds met and other terms and conditions of the Company's active bonus policy for the respective year.
