Job Options Inc is Hiring a Janitor- Evening Shift Near San Diego, CA
Job Summary: Performs a full range of cleaning tasks involved in the maintenance of designated areas in the commissary store. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Your role will involve performing various cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for staff and visitors.
Location On- site: North Island Commissary Bldg. 2017, Colorado St, San Diego, CA 92135
Work schedule: 6PM-11PM, must be available weekends
Essential Job Duties
- Clean and finish sales floor to ensure it is free of marks and mars and has a uniform gloss.
- Clean patrons restrooms nightly in order to keep them sanitary.
- Clean water fountains daily to keep clean and in proper working order.
- Clean employees break room restrooms nightly in order to keep them sanitary.
- Receive general oral and written instructions and assignments from supervisors and Project Manager.
- Carry out assignments with independence. Work is reviewed regularly for satisfactory performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- No prior experience or training is needed, will be trained upon hire.
- Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) Requirement that may take up to 10-21 business days.
- Must be willing to work onsite of assigned job working with military personnel on a military installation. North Island Naval Base Coronado
- You must be at least 18 Years of age to apply.
