The Visual Merchandiser brings the Southern Tide brand to life by developing and executing visual merchandising concepts and direction for Signature Stores, Ambassador Shops, Key Retailers and direct to consumer Stores. This position drives brand strength and consistency in the field, with regard to established merchandise presentation strategies, as well as maximizing opportunities by region, market and location. Crew Position: In partnership with Design, execute on-brand visual and in-store customer experiences across assigned channels. Conceptualize merchandise presentation and flow, driving key merchandising strategies for Signature Stores, Ambassador Shops and Key Retailers. Identify the visual merchandising strategies that support the Brand direction and customize the overall guest experience Provide recommendations to merchants for optimizing assortments that lead to maximizing the overall presentation and brand experience in the store. Develop merchandising direction for identified outlets by season to enhance product and guest experience. Develop and communicate merchandising standards, guidelines, and philosophies for all product categories. Publish clear and concise directions for display of marketing collateral in stores. Research marketplace trends and integrate as appropriate. Support seasonal advertising campaigns through interior presentations. Review plans for each new / remodeled store and establish initial fixture requirements and layouts. Partner with appropriate internal teams to establish capacity, fixture needs, and the merchandise assortment and allocation parameters. Partner with Director of Signature Stores to communicate the visual merchandising strategy for initial store set up. Provide education and training on visual standards and guidelines for sales associates in identified outlets. Participate in stores openings and related projects as needed. Travel as required, aproximately 20-30% What all hands on deck looks like… Comfortable managing multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines. Passion for current fashion and styling trends. Relatability to the Southern Tide brand. Strong attention to detail, follow-up and excellent organizational skills. Excellent communicator (oral and written). Know the ropes… Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Marketing or related field or relevant work experience. Generally, 4 years’ experience in visual merchandising preferably for both men’s and women’s apparel. Knowledge of Adobe CS - Proficient with Photoshop and InDesign. Proficient with basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
