Bryce Resort is looking to hire bartenders to work in a fast paced, team environment. This position requires excellent customer service and good communication skills. Weekend and holiday shifts required.
- Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available
- Stocks additional supplies as necessary
- Follows setup procedure
- Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre mixed drinks
- Receives cash bank at beginning of shift and verifies its accuracy
- Greets members and guests
- Ensures all guests ordering alcoholic beverages are 21 by asking for and viewing proper identification
- Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes
- Rings all transactions into the point-of-sale system in a timely and accurate manner
- Collects checks/payments for drinks served and verifies correct prices are charged
- Reports complaints to manager as soon as they occur
- Complies with all ABC regulations
- Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment
- Cleans and locks up according to prescribed procedures
- Attends staff meeting and training sessions as required
- Performs any other duties as assigned
No supervision duties are included in this position
