Position: Client Account Manager - IT Equipment and Services

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Client Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will fill a multifaceted role that involves client relationship management, strategic planning, service delivery oversight, fiscal management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement to drive customer satisfaction and business success.

Responsibilities:

o Client Relationship Management:

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

- Understanding clients' business needs and objectives.

- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their queries and concerns promptly.

o Account Planning and Strategy:

- Developing account plans and strategies to meet clients' goals and objectives.

- Identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling IT services based on clients' needs.

- Collaborating with the sales team to develop proposals and pitches for new business opportunities.

o Service Delivery Oversight:

- Monitoring service delivery to ensure it meets clients' expectations and SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

- Coordinating with internal teams (e.g., technical support, project management) to resolve any issues or escalations promptly.

- Conducting regular service reviews with clients to gather feedback and improve service delivery.

o Financial Management:

- Managing the financial aspects of client accounts, including invoicing, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Tracking revenue and profitability for each account, identifying areas for cost optimization or revenue growth.

o Contract Management:

- Negotiating and renewing contracts with clients.

- Ensuring contract compliance and addressing any contract-related issues.

o Risk Management:

- Identifying potential risks or challenges related to client accounts and developing mitigation strategies.

- Proactively addressing any issues that may impact client satisfaction or retention.

o Reporting and Analysis:

- Generating regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as client satisfaction, revenue growth, and account profitability.

- Analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

o Communication and Collaboration:

- Facilitating communication and collaboration between internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

- Keeping clients informed about new services, industry trends, and relevant updates.

o Continuous Improvement:

- Staying updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

- Proactively suggesting improvements to processes, workflows, or services to enhance client experience and drive business growth.

o Customer Advocacy:

- Acting as a customer advocate within the MSP, representing clients' interests and ensuring their needs are prioritized.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred or at least 5 years equivalent experience.

Proven track record of success in inside sales, preferably in the IT industry.

Strong understanding of IT equipment; servers, networks, endpoints and software services, and Microsoft licensing, and have the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and engaging phone manner.

Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on achieving results and exceeding sales targets.

Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment; tracking and following up on leads, updating CRM systems with relevant information, and providing regular reports on sales activities and performance metrics.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
