We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Quality Control Manager/Project Engineer/Resident Engineer (job titles can vary) to join our team in Brooklyn. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
This role requires full-time presence at the field office and on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance: Oversee and ensure the quality of design and installation work at the site.
Site Presence: Be on-site 100% of the time, working from 7 AM to 4/4:30 PM.
Data Management: Accumulate, assess, and process data from geotechnical instrumentation to produce daily and weekly reports.
Water Treatment Operations: Monitor the operation of the water treatment system, ensuring adherence to detailed specifications.
RFI and Submittals: Manage the Request for Information (RFI) and submittal processes to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
Condition Assessment: Conduct thorough condition assessments before and after installation activities to ensure project quality and compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in project engineering, preferably in environmental or construction projects.
Strong understanding of geotechnical instrumentation and data processing, vibration monitoring knowledge is a must
Familiarity with water treatment systems and their operational specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage RFI and submittal processes.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality assurance and control.
USACE experience is a plus
PE license required
