**Description**

**The Role**

The Spur Group is looking for a **Client Delivery Manager (CDM) ** **Technical Project Management** to join our **Technology Consulting Practice.** As a CDM - Technical Project Management you will manage the priorities, projects and solutions across the Data & AI and Application Development teams. You will execute on The Spur Groups data and development roadmap, and drive technology innovation in the form of disciplined delivery of modern data products and features. ?

**What You'll Do**

Account Development

* Contribute to renewal and sale of follow-on projects through proactive client engagement

* Partner with team Client Delivery Director to identify and go after new opportunities

* Drive business development process by scoping work, creating budgets, writing statements of work (SOWs), managing pipeline, and providing regular updates to the leadership team

* Ensure project scope and deliverables are aligned with client goals

Practice Development

* Build and lead a team of Technical Program Management consultants to deliver enterprise application, data platform, BI and advanced analytics solutions.

* Define, implement and work within an agile project governance frameworks (e.g. establish team cadence, define Scrum ceremonies, build backlog refinement best practices, etc.)

* Define and drive progress against the practice roadmap outlining practice capabilities and projecting sequencing and timeframe for acquisition

* Participate in firm management Rhythm of the Business (RoB), and put company goals/vision/values into practice

* Contribute to resource allocation, including staffing, hiring, and onboarding new talent

* Manage resource utilization as well as project budgets

* Manage career development and performance of direct reports, train next generation of consultants, and coach on skill development and consulting techniques

* Manage up to senior leadership on key risks and issues, and proactively pull in support when needed

* Contribute to planning initiatives and other firm leadership activities

Consulting

* Serve as a thought partner and trusted advisor to clients

* Lead the agile software delivery team, manage issues and mitigate risks

* Be the functional and subject matter expert for your team as they act as the liaison between Product Ownership, Project Governance, and the Development/Implementation Team

* Collaborate with prospective and current clients and business leaders, development teams, and data teams to prioritize solution requirements into an integrated product backlog?

* Work with the Product Owner to define the product by identifying requirements and thinking critically about what will make it successful; write user stories that effectively communicate the Product Owners requirements and that are easily consumed by development teams

* Work with the engineering team, in particular the Solution Architect, to define and validate the technical approach, strategy and deliverables for the project

* Attend and lead meetings; provide project status reporting to management; assist with testing scenarios, and validate results

* Prepare and deliver client presentations and work products/prototypes

* Lead sprint planning and demos to ensure team success and drive high customer satisfaction and alignment to work progress.

* Proactively manage stakeholder relationships, communications and expectations to ensure satisfaction in delivered solution?

* Make decisions regarding strategy and direction of project delivery through consideration of competing priorities, cost of delay, dependencies, and level of effort?

* Serve as an escalation point for members of the project team?

* Lead efforts to complete testing, facilitate UAT and feedback, and provide training to end users on data product(s)?

**Requirements**

* 5 years of overall consulting experience for Fortune 1000 Clients, including experience across a range of functions (business operations, project or program management, strategy consulting, change management, etc.); experience with an established consulting firm preferred

* 5 years of experience leading consulting projects end-to-end that require strategic and creative thinking

* 5 years of experience performing resource management and driving resource utilization

* 5 years of relevant professional and team leadership / people development experience management experience required

* 6-10 years of consulting experience in Agile Software development as a Project, Product or Program Manager

* Experience in all phases of product, software, and testing lifecycles

* Able to serve as a liaison between both business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs

* Skilled at defining and documenting business and functional requirements for ongoing system enhancement initiatives in iterative software development environments

* Strong investigative, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

* Strong knowledge in software delivery: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP and Lean

* Able to proactively identify risks, and drive action to mitigate and resolve issues

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a vast array of information

* Experience leading all Agile ceremonies including: sprint planning, review, demo, and stand-up sessions

* Demonstrated experience in modern data technologies, cloud solutions, development platforms, and their interdependencies?

* Ability to balance the demands of multiple projects while pushing the intellectual envelope in search of solutions to complex problems?

* Ability to think strategically and execute methodically demonstrating breadth, creativity and innovation.?

* Ability to creatively approach new challenges and work outside your comfort zone?

* Excellent written and verbal communication, along with presentation and interpersonal skills?

* Strong appetite to learn new technologies and analytics techniques?

* Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related subject area?
