Overview:

The L&D Specialist role offers the preferred candidate the opportunity to deliver learning solutions that unlock performance and drive key business objectives.This role will collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts across the organization to design and facilitate strategic Instructor-led Training (ILT) and e-learning modules for all business areas.The L&D Specialist will focus on identifying and actualizing unique development experiences that positively impact culture, engagement and drive results.The ideal candidate is passionate about creating a best-in-class learning experience with a focus on human-centric design. This role reports directly to the Manager of the People L&D team.

Responsibilities:

Assess learning needs and prioritize efforts by collaborating with business leaders, conducting research, and synthesizing information from multiple data sources. Use human-centered design techniques to create content that supports adult learning methodologies and the 70:20:10 model. Leverage a range of learning tools to create relevant blended learning programs that support learner needs and meet program objectives. Facilitate both virtual and in-person learning sessions for NDR team members. Use the LMS platform to assign eLearn modules and track results. Continuously iterate and improve on products and programs by gathering feedback and measuring results. Engage in continuous dialogue with business leaders, and cross-functional team members to gather input, share ideas, and deliver targeted learning. Maintain functional expertise by keeping up to date on current Professional Development trends in the industry. Demonstrate strong team player skills by supporting peers and colleagues within the intact team, and across the organization, with minor tasks and large-scale projects.

Specific Projects Own the Team Lead Program (TLP) for cross-functional participants including design, delivery, evaluation and reporting. Assume responsibility for related admin tasks such as sending communications, calendar invites, and pre and post work. Co-facilitate and support current leadership programs with the L&D Manager. Continually assess interpersonal skills needed for Team Lead success and evolve learning to meet needs in a fast-paced and changing environment. Co-deliver learning sessions on DiSC and the FUEL coaching model for new leadership hires and newly promoted managers on a regular cadence. Conduct a robust needs assessment/discovery process for Team Leads to uncover areas of professional strength and identify knowledge gaps and areas of opportunity. Design a strategic learning path and recommendation based on data gathered in the needs assessment. Collaborate with all NDR L&D teams, including trainers and leaders, to collaborate on content design and ensure consistent learning opportunities across the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred; not required. 1 3 years of experience in designing, curating, and delivering learning solutions. A track record of translating user and business needs into learning solutions using human-centered iterative design. Comfortable facilitating ILT sessions from the Individual Contributor level to the Executive team. The ability to design and develop effective learning experiences via multiple channels including eLearn modules, job aids, ILT sessions and virtual learning. Familiarity with Cornerstone-On-Demand LMS, a plus; not required. Familiarity with content authoring tools including Articulate 360 (Articulate Storyline and Articulate RISE), Adobe Captivate and Photoshop, a plus; not required. A demonstrated ability to develop and deploy sound measurement strategies that track engagement, impact, quality of experience, and KPIs. Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate with team members, drive and own personal projects, and manage multiple priorities with a decisive mindset.
