Public Safety Officer
With the general supervision of the Public Safety Manager, the Public Safety Officer completes regular tours of BMC, patrols grounds on foot and in vehicle to maintain order throughout BMC property. Responsible for protecting life and property of all persons on hospital premises and polices BMC buildings and grounds in order to prevent and/or respond quickly to fire, theft, assault or vandalism.

  • Resource Center - estimated opening date of September 2024.
Schedule
  • Generally Friday-Saturday, 11p-7:30a
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Iowa Drivers license
  • May not be convicted of a crime other than a minor traffic violation
  • One (1) year of security, behavioral health or related experience, or two or four year degree in related field
