AT A GLANCE:
Broad River Retail is currently seeking for Supervisor of DC Operations to join our Operations team in Fort Mill. The position is responsible for supervising tasks and productivity of distribution center people and processes. This includes overseeing the receiving, storage, and preparation of product, as well as managing inventory accuracy, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
DAY IN THE LIFE AS THIS MEMORY MAKER:
  • Lead team meetings with enthusiasm
  • Communicate expectations and set goals for individuals and team
  • Train, develop, coach and mentor team members
  • Ensure tasks are completed within the allotted time to meet departmental goals
  • Oversee Safety expectations are met
Qualifications

  • Strong cognitive skills required; including the ability to learn quickly, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously and be highly productive without needing much supervision

  • Effectively identify and solve problems that may arise to include adapting to change in requirements

WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch on concrete flooring
  • Must be able to routinely lift or move objects up to 75 pounds alone and team lift objects over 75 pounds
  • Working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday
