BAHS is looking for a temporary chef for their team retreat, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The role runs from Monday, May 13 through Thursday, May 16. The chef will be responsible for preparing dinner on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, as well as options for light lunch grazing on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Preference will be given to chefs local to the New Orleans area. Meals will include ~15 people. Duties will include creating a menu based on preferences and dietary restrictions, grocery shopping, preparing meals and snacks, and kitchen clean-up after each meal. Restrictions include allergies to pork and shellfish, as well as vegetarian team members. The focus should be on healthy vegetables and lean proteins/fish. More details will be provided during the interview, and candidates will be asked to provide a sample menu. This is a fun and dynamic team of women, so the ideal candidate is personable and easygoing with a great sense of humor.
