Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC is Hiring a Construction Superintendent - Federal Near Anchorage, AK

Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH) is expanding its workforce! We are searching for a proficient Superintendent to join our growing construction business line. This role entails scheduling, subcontractor management, communication with the client and building occupants, safety and occupational health management, monitoring, assessments, safety site orientation, activity-specific education, and assurance of compliance.
This role is located in Fairbanks, AK
Compensation $105,000 - $125,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
The Superintendent will provide direct task order management and is responsible for:
Direct task order management Oversight of the day-to-day operations
Daily coordination of definable features of work
Scheduling and supervision of in-house workforce and subcontractors
On-site review and enforcement of contract compliance
Review of documents for contract requirements
Sequencing of work for efficiency and maximizing coordination between trades
Checking and reviewing submittals for accuracy and completeness
Assist with conducting safety inspections & Tool Box Talks
Enforcement of QC & safety measures
Preparation of Daily Project Reports
Maintenance and accounting of project equipment, materials & supplies
Access and security for work sites, including control of keys and locks
Qualifications:
More than five years of superintendent experience in construction management for working with USACE relevant to the complexities of this task order, including projects over $5 million
As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable references and background check results.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, climbing, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Must maintain a constant state of mental alertness at all times. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Working Conditions
Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
