We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our Lenexa, KS team. American Direct is looking for a motivated and driven individual to help our organization continue its expansion across the country. If you have the experience and qualifications outlined below, we want to hear from you!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver a high level of customer service by promptly communicating and scheduling all deliveries and/or outbound shipments to customers.
- Schedule outbound LTL and FTL shipments once material is received to include generating appropriate paperwork and coordinating deliveries with customers.
- Prepare shipping paperwork for all shipments/deliveries from Lenexa, KS Fulfillment Center.
- Effectively manage Warehouse employees.
- Responsible for the organization of the warehouse.
- Ordering shop supplies for the warehouse.
- Oversee Fulfillment Center inventory using first in first out method.
- Receipt of materials and put-away as needed.
- Assist with receipt of material for hardware pre-install projects to aid our installers.
- Manage stock inventory and work-in-process (WIP) to a high level of accuracy to prevent short or incorrect items in our inventory.
- Ensure a safe working environment at all times with no injuries.
- Routine cleaning and maintenance of warehouse and warehouse equipment as needed.
- Routine travel and occasional overnight stays will be required for hardware checkoffs and jobsite visits (25%).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator's Certificate. If candidate does not have certification, he/she should have to have the ability to obtain certification. American Direct will provide training to obtain certification.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PPT), MS Dynamics (cERP 2019), and Comsense.
- Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems is desirable.
- A minimum of two (2) years warehouse management/supervision or oversight experience required.
- Associates Degree in related fields of logistics, supply chain and/or transportation.
- Valid Driver’s License and DOT card.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Experience in the construction industry with emphasis in the specific fields of Doors, Frames, Hardware and Specialties will be desirable.
