M1 is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager with the following knowledge and experience:
Position Description:

• Focal point for all quality assurance activities on the UC-35 Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Services contract IAW

the PWS, company policy, and applicable government regulatory guidance.

• Functions as the overall quality manager for the contracted effort. Receives guidance and direction from the company

VP Quality and Safety.

• Plans, organizes, and directs quality operations to meet PWS requirements.
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease cycle time and streamline workflow processes.
• Develops and sustains a culture of safety, quality compliance, and professionalism.
• Ensures compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and company policies relating

to fleet management/operations.

• Ensures sufficient manpower, technical data, tools and equipment are available to meet PWS requirements.
• Monitors attendance, approves timecards, assigns overtime.
• Applies Company policy and procedures pertaining to the promotion, training, discipline, and termination of employees.
• Ensures employees possess the qualifications and certifications necessary to perform their jobs.

In addition, the candidate should possess the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or Engineering discipline preferred. High School graduate or

equivalent required.

• At least 10 years’ experience of which eight shall be in managing complex, turbine powered, fixed wing aircraft,

to include airframe modifications of the UC-35 or similar aircraft.

• At least five years’ experience as a quality assurance supervisor in a FAA FAR Part 145 repair station and three

years FAR Part 91, 135 and/or 145 shop management experience.

• Demonstrated ability to manage geographically separated teams and effectively provide guidance, direction, and

supervision of contracted effort such as quality control and compliance.

• Able to obtain/maintain security clearance as required by PWS.
• Must possess competent computer skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to moves about both inside aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps within close proximity of

running equipment and aircraft.

• Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional

and non-confrontational attitude.
