Keller Rohrback L.L.P. is Hiring a Senior Litigation Paralegal Near Phoenix, AZ

Sr. Litigation Paralegal: Keller Rohrback L.L.P., a Pacific Northwest-based, nationally recognized law firm, is seeking to hire a highly qualified litigation paralegal for its Commercial and Complex Litigation departments, in the Phoenix office. This position plays an independent and active role as part of a collegial team of attorneys and staff located in the Phoenix office. This position will support the firm’s Phoenix-based attorneys with Arizona state court work and contribute to the firm’s national Complex Litigation group.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of extensive experience in commercial litigation focused in Arizona state courts; federal court experience and familiarity with Relativity e-discovery software is a plus. This position will handle all aspects of state court litigation from inception, discovery, and trial. The focus is general commercial litigation, probate litigation, and some insurance defense work. The complex litigation work will focus on supporting teams with case-based research, writing fact sections, and a strong focus on discovery related tasks and projects that may include e-discovery assignments. Responsibilities include client outreach, case management, drafting pleadings, investigation, interviewing witnesses, cite-checking, and e-discovery. We are looking for someone who is very straightforward by nature, positive and proactive, enjoys working in a team, has a great sense of humor, and can handle challenging situations.

Position Requirements:

  • Passion for protecting the rights of individuals.
  • 5 years of direct experience as a commercial litigation paralegal in Arizona.
  • A depth of knowledge of legal concepts, terminology, and processes.
  • Lead projects from inception through delivery, including resource requirements, workflows, and competing deadlines.
  • Collaborate on the delivery of complex projects that integrate multiple resources.
  • Strong cite check capabilities utilizing The Bluebook, Westlaw, and Lexis .
  • Excellent writing and research skills.
  • Demonstrated ability as an independent thinker and self-starter.
  • Exemplary communication skills and ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues, co-counsel, and clients.
  • Extremely responsive to deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively respond to urgent situations that require a quick turnaround.
  • Federal court experience and familiarity with Relativity e-discovery software a plus.
